Who are Valley School of Motoring?
Established in 2003, Valley School of Motoring has built a trusted reputation for delivering high-quality, professional driving lessons across South and Mid Wales.
Our mission goes beyond helping you pass your driving test — we aim to give you the confidence, knowledge, and skills needed for a lifetime of safe driving. Every lesson is designed to help you handle your car safely, responsibly, and with complete confidence on today’s roads.
Based in Ystradgynlais, we’re proud to be well known throughout Neath, Swansea, Brecon, Ammanford and the surrounding valleys for our patient, friendly and professional driving tuition.
Since 2018, Valley School of Motoring has grown from a single instructor — Hugh Davies, who won the Intelligent Instructor Award for Driving Instructor of the Year in 2021 — into a strong team of DVSA-approved male and female driving instructors.
Together, our instructors provide expert, tailored driving lessons across South & Mid Wales, covering a wide area from Aberystwyth to Caerphilly, Cardiff, and Pontypridd, with a key focus around Neath, Swansea, Ystradgynlais, and Ammanford.
